ATTORNEY PROFILE

Patricia Arispe Sanders is a Peruvian immigrant and a lawyer. After coming to the United States in 2010, she began working for an immigration legal services nonprofit organization in Washington, D.C. First as a paralegal, and then as a Board of Immigration Appeals accredited representative, Ms. Arispe Sanders helped countless immigrants, including victims of domestic violence and human trafficking, achieve legal status in the United States. She found her passion in working with immigrants from all walks of life to navigate the confusing, complex, and sometimes unfair United States immigration system.

After leaving the nonprofit organization, Ms. Arispe Sanders worked for a full-service immigration law firm in Silver Spring, Maryland, where she gained experience in family-based immigration, asylum, citizenship and naturalization, U.S. federal court, and special immigrant juvenile status matters.

Ms. Arispe Sanders graduated with a law degree from San Martin de Porres University in Lima, Peru. She graduated from American University Washington College of Law with an LL.M. in International Legal Studies. In 2014, Ms. Arispe Sanders was the recipient of the Goldman-Grossman Award at the Seventeenth Annual Hispanic Law Conference because of her exceptional commitment to the Latino community.
